Beginning Agility Class 3

Our Beginning Ability class 3 will start Thursday, August 10th at 6:00-7:15pm and run for six weeks. This is a continuation of our Beginning Agility Class 2. You must have attended the Beginning Class 2 or have prior approval to register for this class.

The Beginning Agility class 3 continues from the Beginning Classes 2 with more advanced handling and training on the obstacles. This is where we continue doing “real” agility. You will build an even closer relationship with your dog, and the better relationship, the better your agility skills! This is one of the joys of positive rewards based training. Agility is really just engagement, chasing, impulse control and tricks taken to a whole new level. We will continue doing action based games, impulse control games that make staying fun, and learning a lot of tricks. Whether you go on to learn more advanced agility skills, just want to build your dog’s confidence, or brush up on manners and tricks in a new way, you’re sure to learn something new in Beginning Agility Class.

Classes are enrolled in 6 week sessions, the cost is $165 for this session.

Bring your dog’s favorite toy, a lot of tasty, treats (suggestions-string cheese, tiny cut up hot dogs, tiny bits of cut up cooked meat, or soft store bought treats that your dog goes CRAZY for), a treat bag that you can wear, and a mat or portable crate to your first class. A clicker is optional. Flat collars or harnesses only please, no pinch or choke chain collars.
