Closing Date: Preregistration closes August 7th or when limits are reached. Registration accepted day of event if limits have not been reached. Two Sessions available. Morning and Evening start times! Limited to 30 handlers each session. Morning start time: Walk throughs- 9:30am. First run- 10:00am. Evening start time: Walk throughs- 3:30pm. First run- 4:00pm.
$35 1st dog, $15 each additional dog pre-registration $45 1st dog, $15 each additional dog day of registration How it works: Standard and Jumpers courses will run at the same time in two different rings. Sign up at ring side under your jump height and this will be your running order. We will go through the running order twice on each course. The Standard and Jumpers courses will then be renumbered and run throughs will continue. Maximum 90 seconds on course. You may jump any height you wish. All dogs must be one year or older, have agility experience and be able to do all equipment safely and off leash. Treats, toys and lavish praise strongly encouraged on course. Course maps will be available for all courses. Heart Dog Agility is private property so please be respectful. Dogs that are aggressive towards people or other dogs or dogs barking excessively will be asked to leave without refund of entry fees. Please clean up after your dogs. No harsh verbal or physical corrections, bark, prong or choke chain collars allowed on the grounds. Some shade is available but bring your own in case it is all taken. Coffee, hot drinks, OJ and pastries will be available in the morning. There is a grocery store with a wonderful deli one mile from the site. Directions: Heart Dog Agility, 480 Marion Ave, Ben Lomond, CA 95005 From Southbound Hwy 17: Take the Mt. Hermon Road exit in Scotts Valley. At the end of the off ramp turn right on to Mt. Hermon Road. Go 3.5 miles on Mt. Hermon Road until it ends at Graham Hill Road and turn left. Go to next signal at East Zayante Road and turn left. Go two miles to Quail Hollow Road and turn left. Go two miles on Quail Hollow Road to the stop sign at Marion Ave and turn right. Go about 1/10th mile and look for a red heart flag that marks the driveway. Turn left into the driveway. When you get to the house stay right on the gravel road. Park in designated spaces on the woodchips. From Northbound Hwy 17: Take the Mt. Hermon Road exit in Scotts Valley. Keep going straight. The off ramp turns into Mt. Hermon Road at the signal. Follow directions as above. Weather: Should be pleasant and warm. There are water tubs and a hose to cool off your dog. I also understand no vet or doctor will be present and time could be of the essence in getting me or my dog or those in attendance with me to a vet or doctor for an injury, illness, or bite and I agree to hold harmless Kathleen Alles, Stan Phillips and the Mixed Breed Dog Club of CA, for any first-aid should qualified medical attention not be given timely. I understand fencing and terrain can be unpredictable and I take full responsibility for any action or inaction on my dog's or my part for any subsequent injury that might occur to me or my dog or those in attendance with me as a result of any venue held on the premises. I take full responsibility for all my actions or inactions, those of my dog, and those in my charge hereby holding Kathleen Alles, Stan Phillips and the Mixed Breed Dog Club of CA, fully harmless at all times. I understand that my dog must be healthy, up-to-date on shots, rabies be current, and have flea & tick protection prior to arrival. X-pens are allowed provided my dog cannot escape, but crates are to be used when my dog is not supervised. I understand no excessive barking will be accepted. I understand that my dog must be under control at all times and liability will fall upon me for any actions or inactions resulting in injury, death, or illness. I give permission for any image taken of me to be used in any way without my previewing the image. I also state my dog(s) is/are not aggressive towards people or other dogs & that I understand I alone am responsible for the behavior of my dog(s), that any dog, which is out of control, creates an unnecessary disturbance or engages in unsafe or disruptive behavior, may at the discretion of Kathleen Alles, be expelled from the event grounds with NO REFUNDS.
