Tori Self is a 20 year old student at the University of Florida who has been involved in the sport of dog agility for 8 years. Tori started agility in 2004 with Labrador retrievers and a border collie, and now primarily runs her young border collie, Revolution (Rev). Tori and Rev are five time National Finalists, two time National Champions, two time AKC/USA World Team Members and 2012 Crufts USA Agility Representatives.

In 2009 Tori and Rev attended their first National Championship together, where they won the 22” USDAA Steeplechase Finals and placed 5th in the 22” Grand Prix Finals. In 2011 they competed together at the AKC Agility Nationals, earning the title National Champion again, this time at 26”. They were then later selected to represent the USA at the 2011 FCI Agility World Championships, where they placed 1st in Team Jumping and 5th in Individual Agility. Representing the USA in the International Agility class at Crufts 2012, Tori and Rev placed 2nd and 3rd in the first two rounds and took 5th overall. They have also placed multiple times at the AKC World Team Tryouts competition, most recently placing first cumulatively on day 2 to earn a spot on the 2012 AKC/USA World Team.

Tori is also a frequent blogger, writing about her adventures with Rev as they journey through competitions in the United States and around the world together. Recording the ups and the downs, the highs and the lows, the training challenges and successes, Tori is constantly musing about something on her blog, www.hippiedogs.com.
